EM Radiation Research Trust: Response to Sefton Council – 17 March 2026
We have today submitted a formal response to Sefton Council regarding their failure to address critical public health concerns associated with wireless communications infrastructure, including 5G and other radiofrequency exposures.
We are making our response publicly available for transparency. The letter is addressed to all Sefton Councillors and MPs and responds to the Council’s deflection received on 16 March 2026, following our February letter raising serious concerns about the legal case on homelessness.
In their reply, the Council stated:
“As previously stated, the Council has provided full responses to a number of items of correspondence on this issue. Our responses have been consistent, and we have nothing further to add at this point.
Given the nature of the matters you raise, and that the Council position is based on national guidance, we would suggest that your correspondence is best directed to central government.”
Our letter submitted today underscores Sefton Council’s ongoing deflection of responsibility to central government. By adhering rigidly to national directives, the Council leaves pressing public health questions and local concerns completely unaddressed. We urge the Council to fulfil its duty and stand up for the constituents it was elected to serve.
We also raise concerns about the potential misrepresentation of our charity in the report commissioned by Colchester Council.

Full credit and thanks to Council Watch (Colchester & Countrywide!) for spotlighting this. It highlights deeply concerning issues around how a council‑commissioned “independent” 5G report appears to have overlooked or dismissed critical evidence. Please watch the video for yourself and judge the evidence in context, it’s an important piece of public scrutiny that deserves wider attention.
