GP with 32 years working in Bootle, Liverpool said:

Just at a Council meeting in Sefton and it was a real eye opener. Quite a lot of aggression and an interesting experience that has shaken me up to see what actually goes on at these meetings.

She calls on people to have a look at themselves.

She then reads out her question that was rejected by Sefton Council.

When asked about her question by the interviewer she said:

It was about 5G, which is incredibly important. I retired last year after 32 years working as a GP in Bootle. I have a great interest in the health and wellbeing of people in Bootle and Sefton. The question was: Are you aware that since the 1930s there have been over 6000 papers providing overwhelming evidence that exposure to electromagnetic radiation is harmful to all life? Are you aware of the 2020 Consensus of UK and international medical and scientific experts on the health effects of non-ionising radiation? The main points are that radiation has been proven to damage biological systems at intensities below the ICNIRP guidelines, which is what the council are using. Public exposure to electromagnetic radiation is already harmful and this will rise with 5G. Exposure is unavoidable, contravening the Human Rights Act for those who do not consent. Multiple international governmental health advisory groups are biased by conflicts of interest. Please study these facts and stop 5G.

She then spoke with the interviewer and said they didn’t allow her to ask her question as they filter out questions if someone has issued one in the last 3 months. There are numerous issues about 5G and a lot of controversy about it. It is very dangerous, it’s going to cause brain stem cancers, heart disease, as well as mental health problems, and we know this for a fact. Insurance companies won’t insure you against it now. Insurance companies know it’s going to be a major health hazard, as do telecom companies, but there are massive vested interests in all of this. A lot of councils around the country are halting it and are actually listening to this overwhelming movement of the public who realise that it is a danger to health. There are more people waking up to this, there really are, and councils around the country are taking this on board. At least they are halting it and looking at this, and I hope that Sefton will do this as well.

Comment from the EM Radiation Research Trust

The EM Radiation Research Trust believes that a retired GP with 32 years’ service to the people of Bootle should have the opportunity to raise public health concerns in a council chamber without procedural exclusion.

We continue to coordinate a national letter campaign and submit formal public health questions to Sefton Council regarding 5G and non-ionising radiation exposure.

Despite ongoing public concern, Sefton Council’s current position remains unchanged.

We encourage members of the public to listen to the full video recording and to examine the issues for themselves. 🎥 Video credit: LIVERPOOL TPR – link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e8-UcxVLOoo

Public health must remain the priority.
