EM Radiation Research Trust
2025 marked a significant year for the EM Radiation Research Trust (RRT), characterised by determined public advocacy, sustained scientific challenge and a growing insistence that public health must not be sidelined in the rapid expansion of wireless technologies.
Throughout the year, the RRT continued to act as an independent and persistent voice raising concerns about radiofrequency and electromagnetic radiation exposures from mobile phone masts, 5G, Wi Fi, smart meters and other wireless infrastructure. Our work consistently focused on the health implications for the public, with particular concern for children, people with medical implants and other vulnerable groups.
One of the defining features of 2025 was the RRT’s increasing engagement with political and policy processes. Evidence was submitted to parliamentary and governmental bodies, ensuring that health evidence and precautionary concerns were formally placed on record.
At local level, the RRT continued to press councils to recognise their responsibilities in planning and public health decision making. Public questioning, correspondence and formal complaints were used to highlight procedural failures, lack of transparency and an over reliance on assurances that do not adequately reflect the breadth of independent scientific evidence. These actions were undertaken in the interests of accountability and democratic engagement.
The RRT website and facebook page throughout 2025 served as a hub for sharing research and public education. Articles, briefings and campaign materials were published to help people understand emerging science, regulatory gaps and the limitations of existing exposure guidelines.
Alongside advocacy and research, 2025 also saw growing public engagement with the RRT’s work. Increased readership, social media interaction and message sharing reflected a rising concern about wireless radiation and its potential health impacts.
We are deeply grateful to everyone who has followed, shared information, written to decision makers, attended meetings or supported the RRT in any way.
As wireless technologies continue to expand, the need for informed, precautionary voices becomes ever more important. With your continued support, the RRT will keep pressing for transparency, accountability and safer policies that put people first.
Thank you to everyone who stood with us. Your involvement truly makes a difference.
With gratitude,
