Two of Jersey Airport’s new body scanners will be in place by Thursday, with the remaining two expected to follow shortly after.
This follows the recent addition of new x-ray machines, which now allow passengers to keep liquids and laptops in their luggage while it is being checked.
The upgrades are part of Jersey’s wider security improvements, designed to align with measures being rolled out across the UK, with all installations expected to be complete by June 2024.
