EM Radiation Research Trust Joins 704 No More Coalition to Restore Local Rights on Cell Tower Placement
We are proud to announce that the EM Radiation Research Trust is now a listed member of 704 No More, a coalition of over 100 health and environmental organizations dedicated to restoring state and local control over the placement of cell towers and antennas, and protecting individual rights.
The 704 No More initiative opposes federal preemption laws that remove communities’ ability to control where wireless infrastructure is placed. It seeks to return decision-making power to local governments and empower residents to protect public health, the environment, and property values.
While 704 No More is a USA-based initiative, its leadership and example offer valuable lessons for the UK and other countries where local communities face similar challenges in securing meaningful say over wireless infrastructure deployment.
