Advice from:
ANYONE CAN OBJECT! – Planners can ONLY take Appearance & Siting into consideration when deciding Telecom Mast Applications, as they are regulated by UKGOV.
Which is how UKGOV has made it virtually impossible to object on health grounds. See here: Planning rules for 5G masts in England – “Dec 8, 2022 ….for a prior approval application, the LPA’s decision will be based on the siting and appearance of a new mast, so responses should focus on those aspects.“
However, don’t let that stop you from including health effects in your objections – ALWAYS INCLUDE the ugly, eyesore appearance of the masts, as that WILL be considered…
Here’s a link to the National Planning Policy Framework (NPPF) – which is worth studying if you want to understand more about how it’s been set up https://www.gov.uk/guidance/national-planning-policy-framework/10-supporting-high-quality-communications-infrastructure?
