Barack Obama recently said that science is about ensuring that facts and evidence are never twisted or obscured by politics or ideology. It’s about listening to what our scientists have to say, even when it’s inconvenient – especially when it’s inconvenient.
The Radiation Research Trust (RRT) truly appreciates this new and honest approach towards science and politics by Barack Obama which is in line with our attitude towards science and policy in favour of protecting public health and the environment.
The RRT has submitted comments to the President’s Cancer Panel as part of the Panel’s “data/information gathering process” which will be reviewed and taken into consideration when the final report is written on electromagnetic fields and submitted to President-elect Obama.
