On October 12, 2012, the Italian Supreme Court, namely the “Corte di Cassazione” (3rd level of judgment), confirmed a previous decision by the Civil Court of Appeals of Brescia (Sentence December 22 2009 no 614) that ruled the Insurance Body for Work (INAIL) must compensate worker Innocente Marcolini who developed a tumor in the head due to long-term, heavy use of mobile phones on the job.
